The Faith Community Nurse is a pastorally called, spiritually mature, licensed registered nurse with a desire to serve his/her congregation in a nursing capacity. Faith Community Nursing is both ministry and the professional practice of nursing, recognized by the American Nurses Association. In order for us to stay spiritually strong we must first take care of ourselves both physically and mentally. The Faith Community Nurse Program is designed to help educate and assist to resolve problems by providing information, eduction about health issues and community resources.
